Wip Wednesday

It is Wednesday!
And can i just say how much i completely LOVE not being at work!
Its just fabulous, i frequently sit at work thinking if i was at home i could get this, that and the other done. But now its all done its so good, im so much less stressed out.

Yesterday me and Rob had a lovely day, we went to Ikea for a new cover for our chair we got on freecycle, then we went to see Harry Potter, i really want to see this in the day without stacks of people. I like the thought of the cinema but people drive me mental so it was suitable quiet and was a fabulous film. Then we went out for our tea at Frankie and Benny's which was awesome.

So back to WIP Wednesday

I have had a busy knitting week, i have finished my 3rd Fair Isle with love hat i started it on Monday morning and by tuesday bed time i was done hurray!

I am finding i am just repeating patterns over and over again.

I finished the christmas colour version of the hat i was doing last week, still not got photos yet but thats done, as are the Fetchings i was working on and the monster just needs eyes.

So this week i am doing this
My friend gave birth to her gorgeous baby boy yesterday so being a fabulous knitter herself i thought i would just knock something little and cute up
So i went for a little baby hat, no real pattern but i have a pom pom all ready and waiting, my mam made it a few weeks ago when she was last here she is champion at making pom poms.

I have a couple of other things on my needles too but they are xmas presents and i know those people read my blog, so will have to share another day.

A couple of things i am planning on casting on is
another monster, can do these in my sleep now

This is super cute too but might have to be for after xmas time wise
All very warm projects as its set to get very cold again tomorrow.

Today i have spend a fabulous day with my friend Ol and my scrumptious godson and his equally gorgeous friend. Tomorrow i plan knitting and sewing (like every day) with a lovely lunch with my MIL.

can i just reiterate i LOVE being off work!
i may never go back lol

Sounds like a great week! I just saw Harry Potter as well and LOVED it. I thought it was the movie of the series so far. It was all handled so well.

I love the colors you're using for the baby hat. Your friend is going to love it.

The cowls are great! Can't wait until you cast on!

So jealous of your holiday! And now counting the days to mine. Great colors on the baby hat -- and how fun to have a tiny one to knit for.

I love to repeat patterns too. Your baby hat is cute, such fun colors! We have very similar tastes in patterns because I have been stalking Thermis and Begbie on ravelry these last few days. Enjoy the rest of your holiday!
