Sweet Progress

I am feeling pretty pleased with myself on the knitting front, my socks are coming along nicely, i turned the heel all by myself and only a tiny bit of help on the instep bit hurray! wanna see?
the heel
Yippee, so now i am onto knitting the top of the foot, which i am trying to do before tomorrow night. Tomorrow night is the season launch at Baa Ram Ewe im excited as its spring summer they might have new sock wool, and given that i appear to be a tiny bit addicted it will be fab.

So as well as my socks i have been knitting another Shroom, this needs to be ready for saturday eekk, and im not every far on as the socks are distracting me terribly.
This time i am using Cygnet Seriously Chunky which i havent ever used for the Shroom before and its a bit sniff at the min but hoping will get better as i continue.

So thats what i have been up to really, i am trying to do a bit of scrapping before the Sarahs Retreat next weekend, i figure there is going to be lots of new stuff there so trying to work through a bit of it first. Im hoping to have done 5 pages before i leave next Thursday.

Tongiht im going to do a bit of socks and watch a bit of tv, after dinner me and rob are gonna do a bit of work on the spare room, I have my lovely friend Emily visiting the weekend after the retreat so i need to unearth the bed from the boxes before then.

Right be sure to head over to the WIP Wednesday blog and check out what all the other lovely knitty ladies have been up to.
I have 2 fabby Finished Objects to share with you on friday yay!

thanks for stopping by

The sock looks sooo good!!!! Congrats!

The chunky yarn for the Shroom looks so squishy and soft!

I love those socks, the colours are wonderful! And the heels look great to me (although I'm a non-knitter who knows nothing about sock construction, so...)

I love how the yarn is working out on your socks.

Your socks are looking great! I've been a bit obsessed with mine lately too, and know what you mean. No worries, though - the shroom will go quickly with the chunky yarn!

Great job on the socks, they should come with a warning because they are so addictive! x

Your socks are sassy! Love the yarn. It must be nice to move from socks to chunky yarn. Good call for a change of pace.

Great looking heel on that sock! A bunch of my knitter friends did a Shroom KAL and said it was a crazy fast knit, so I bet you'll have it ready in time, but good luck nonetheless.
