Hump Day

Hurray i love it when wednesday is over coz then when i wake up tomorrow i can say yay its friday tomorrow, not that im wishing my life away or anything.

So i thought i would join in with WIP Wednesday again, i have been knitting up a storm actually.

I started this 2 weeks ago, its called Reading in bed Shrug which is odd but its a cute pattern, all knit flat with lace, i have to admit i keep going a little wrong but thats because im watching tv at the same time, but you cant really tell.

Im using Patons Cotton dk which is also what i used for my Ishbel, i was going to do it in black as it goes with everything but surely grey goes with everything too and less of a pain to knit with.

So there you go, im pretty pleased so far, i havent done anything on it for a week or so because i have been using all my time and knitting energy on this!

No your eyes are not playing tricks on you, these are the arms for OWLS, this owl jumper pattern is crazy popular on Ravelry and i havent touched it since i finished the body in September, but Natalie has started to knit it so i thought be great to do it at the same time.

Im quite impressed with myself, i started the 2nd sleeve on monday night and finished last night, the first one nearly killed me was terribly dull but now i need to attach them to the body etc (no idea) im planning to head to Baa Ram Ewe tomorrow night for some serious help.

So there you go i have been quite a busy bee, im also using a tiny bit of our dongle internet allowance, so again im still struggling/ cant comment on peoples blog which makes me sad. I am reading on my iphone though.

right i have a million things to do which i have been thinking about all day, as well as working very hard of course.

thanks for stopping by

I am in LOVE with the Owl sweater. I put it on my queue even before I knew how to knit. When I get to a sweater making point in my skills, this will definitely be one of the first I try. I can't wait to see yours finished!

I prefer gray to black so I think you made a good decision on the yarn for your shrug. It will go with just about everything and the lace pattern will be more visible. I hope the rest of the week goes quickly for you :-)
