Busy 3 days

Hi guys, so the last 3 days i have been busy entertaining my chum Emily. We did an insane amount of knitting.
I am pleased to say she got 3 or the 4 projects done. On friday we knit for most of the day and had a quick nip to the park to take a few snaps of the stripy hat i finished last week.

This hat is cute cute cute but big, very beret like i guess, there is a 10-15 yr old size which i might try but i love it, i used Stylecraft Special DK which i love and no way does it feel like the acrylic that it is.
So after a furious day knitting on friday we headed out on saturday to the Textiles event that was on at the local church, organised by George from knit night.
They had the most gorgeous bunny there, this is Toblerone how gorgeous is he?

We had a lovely time and got some bargains on the Wool Mountain, the wool was 1p a gram, so i got some complete bargains. After this we went back to Baa Ram Ewe to get more things Emily had been thinking about.
We just missed the heaviest downpour ever and hopped on a bus to town to visit all the other wool shops around.
We came back with a good stash.
mine is at the front and Em's is at the back, my pile cost a grand total of £6, and i think the cream one is Rowan Big Wool which is normally £7.99.
We came home and watched films and ate cake.

I had a awesome time with Emily and im just gutted that so many of my friends live so far away :( .

So i promised that i would share some scrapping stuff so here it is.
One of my favourite photos of lola, and some of my favourite new paper from the lovely Cosmo. I am still missing lola very much, it just doesnt quite feel right here without her.

I did this page ages ago but dont think i shared it with you, old stash that needed using up and quite old photos now, i havent scrapped very many photos from our last trip to the cabin in the woods, but really like the photos.

So my photos from the weddings arrived so i plan to scrap a few of them. I am now half way through my holiday boo! but still another week off i cant believe it.
I have made great progress with my owl jumper
This was mainly done last night, it was a very late night.
I also finished my Clapotis (big shawl thing) on Friday morning, and will share pics with you next time. I managed to knock up a hat in 2 hours today for rob, (he is currently asleep wearing it after a boozy night out).

So the sun is shining and i have 7 more days off work.
Ahhh! i could get used to this
Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to comments, its very much appreciated
Rach xx
p.s im thinking of doing a blog make over soon so hope it works

I'm amazed at how much knitting you get done - it's brilliant. I had stopped knitting years ago but got all fired up reading your blog so now the needles are out and I'm half way through a baby blanket and a couple of scarves are nearly done! Mind you that's taken me weeks and weeks! :-)

Hi Rachel,

Glad you had a nice time with your friend. My best friend lives just an hour away but even that is too far a lot of the time. Okay for a days visit but too far for a cup of tea and a chat :-(.
And those have to be the biggest knitting needles I have ever seen - was she really knitting with them?
