New York Woolies

So with wedding season/weekend over i can show you a little something i made for Laura and Will. They are going on their honeymoon in October to New York, so i thought i would make something to keep them toasty.
I made the Shroom and the slouchy boy hat.
im please to say they seemed to go down well and i received this pic of them on monday morning yay!
Cute

So in other news, i have been off work and loving it, we have ben chilling out, we went to see The Switch yesterday in the middle of the day and loved it.
So have also been getting ready for the arrival of my friend Emily so lots of tidying, and are still doing it now. Emily like me loves knitting, so im gonna give her a little help whilst she is here to do some projects so might struggle with on her own.
I have everything ready
She will be making the Shroom, the Bitty boy bump, wrist warmers, and a cupcake, or we are going to try anyway. We are going to knit night at Baa Ram Ewe tonight, which has just won The best local yarn store in the United Kingdom award!
YAY! how exciting that this lovely shop is just a short drive away from my house.
So in other knitting news i have been working on my Clapotis, its dead big now
I cast on the owl jumper finally, only to get to the rib and find i needed circular needles i didnt have so a mad dash to p2tog for some needles
and i cast on something fun for a small person
I sorted out some wool
no idea what im gonna use any of this box for eekk
Basket of little bits

Also September has crept upon us

My bridesmaid bouquet is still going strong.

Although i havent done much yet this holiday i am loving just hanging out with my lovely fella.
