Todays Plan of action

Every weekend i give myself a insanely long list of things i want to get done, i rarely get everything done coz they are seriously long. 2 weeks ago it had 26 things on it, ranging from blogging, to scrapping, to knitting whole garments, to sewing, i got 9 done that weekend.

Last weekend there was 12, mainly from the week before but i had been a little more realistic this time i got, i got 6 things done lol.

Today I have 7, but one includes do at least 15 scrapbook pages (yeah yeah) and the another is make a quilt.

I showed you my lovely Early Bird fabric before but here is another peak

So i want to make it into something even prettier, my previous quilts have literally just been fat quarters chopped up, but today i fancy being a bit more daring.

All these lovely quilts are available to download for free from the Amy Butler sight as well as tons of other stuff.

So they are my plans, I'm going to do my best to avoid the internet today as its a time sucker!

This is baby Katrin, shes cute, im guessing she is smaller than thought as that little baby grow is a little big lol.

Right im off to have a super productive day, scrapping, sewing and knitting all in the same day lucky me huh!

its been a while

since I shared any scrappy stuff with you, so this post will be scrappy heavy!

First of all, the new Twisted Sketch went live this week, the twist this week is to use a STAPLE, how easy right? so this is what i did.

I actually started this lo last June believe it or not! It was at the gogo weekend away and i never finished it, so i had the rainbow paper and photos ready ever since.

I am very lucky to be able to have a while room for my craftyness (yes its a word).

So get over to the blog and get your entries in.

Lately i have been trying to use some older photos inc a ton of uni ones which i plan to tackle today. This is what i have got done so far

After I did this I decided that the title was a bid off but never mind, I used the new Garden Variety, these photos were taken in the early days in our flat so about 2007 ish, I have scrapped them before but i had them already printed so i thought why not.

What else do i have....

This is the fabby Material Girl its super cute and doesnt have to be used for just sewing pages, obviously i have but how could i not really. I love this quilt the best, i have done 3 so far, one thats on the back of the sofa and falls off all the time! and one for my mate for her birthday.

I have one sat on my shelf that needs some attention.

Anything else......

Again I have used Garden Variety here ( i assume i did all these pages the weekend i got my double deck lol) This is a really old photo of one of our trips to the cabin in the woods.

The cabin in the woods little weekend has been put on hold for a while with the arrival of gorgeous Maxwell and there is some more exciting news over at my lovely DT buddies blog Jen check it out. So times are changing, but its mighty exciting.

Think thats all i have scrap wise, i wanted to show you something exciting in Leeds.

Since we lost Borders earlier this year we have been without a Paperchase! but look that has appeared

love this new collection, i would like it in wallpaper, but i am wanting everything in wallpaper lately lol

Well i think thats all for now, i am planning on doing some serious scrapping today, its the last day of my holiday so naturally i have a million things to do, and im starting with yet another cold! On the lola front, she seems the same no worse anyway so we are puzzled what is wrong with her.

New Craft Room

Im so excited my craft room is finally done and tidy, i think i was pretty lucky to have as much space as i did in the flat but how i have crazy amounts!
We have 2 downstairs living rooms so i have used one as a craft room i didnt want to be upstairs while rob was down here so hoping this will work out. I got a new desk even though i didnt need one but it had 70% off for being damaged yet when ive built it its a tiny mark at the back you cant even see. So i now have a 'crafting' desk and a computer, printer, ipod desk and i will roll between them both is my plan!
Expedit- i have had this for weeks and really happy i can use it now, getting quite a collection of albums and pleased to haev somewhere to store them, and the top is a good size for pretty things.



this lo is just for show its going in a box frame in the living room

my paperclip valentines day card is too cute so had to be out.
So this is my new desk its a bit of a beast, i am trying to keep as much surface area clear so i have plenty room to spread out, as fab as my other desk is it can be quite restricting.


Love the magazine racks, didnt think i would use them but i am, plan to put my SI and SBM in order on them.


This is me trying to be tidy, sure that will change after a couple of weeks, i have my things i use most often near me, my pencilcase, my box of pretty ribbon, sets of drawers with herma, foam pads, ton of stamps, stamp blocks etc etc etc

This is my view out the window of our garden- which is very much a working progress, if you look i have taken a panel off the desk where it should have a magnet board and a shelf but the desk is so big it would of hung in the window and blocked all the light out, so it looks a bit odd but thats fine.

This is my computer desk, i am after a new monitor what a apple one so it ties in but they are pricey but its on my list as well as a new mouse and a new key board. want want want want lol!

I have my photos stored on this desk in boxes and few over flow things that i guess i dont really use too much

This is where my little photo printer lives, its tiny isnt it? and my ipod dock fits perfectly in the gap very happy!

Ive put my tote under my desk i never really use it, and have my most current things in the alcove as well as my tote bag i love so much lol

i have a bookcase on the back wall thats not so crafty at the moment but have the option to 'move in' if i want in the future.

i got this lovely wire heart which i was visiting SJ on my trip not quite sure where its going to live just yet.

This is my tool section in a effort to make me use them again lol, drawers need to be sorted really too.
So this is what it looks like all put together!!





As you can see plenty space to take over the other side of the room too, although we plan on another sofa or dining room table.
