Clapotis

The Clapotis which i have been going on about for ages is a hugely popular pattern on Ravelry, there are currently 16,094 projects been made using this pattern. I finally finished mine a week ago and i have a stack of photos to share with you.
Lovely Emily helped me with the pics and we got a couple cute ones of us together.
This is the biggest project i have ever done and im really chuffed with it.It took about a month but i was working on other things and working working of course, but glad i have it in time for the cold times which seems to have appeared.

So i also wanted to share a few snaps from last nights knit night, it was a strange old evening, someone mentioned last week they need some help sewing some patches up for a giant cardigan.
What i didnt quite know when i said i would help last week was that it was to be entered into the Guinness Records it was huge so we spent a good couple of hours crawling around on the floor doing this.
After we had done all we could we started the Ishbel knit along, this is also a very popular pattern with 7,815 been made already and thats just on ravelry.
Here is how mine looks this morning.
Im quite impressed so far but we havent got to the tricky bit yet so time will tell.

So today is my last official day off, i have the weekend too but Rob is back to work tomo:(

Its a super bright but chilly day here, we are having a day in today, i have already done 2 layouts, and cast on a hat and done a bit of Ishbel, nothing quite like the end of a holiday to speed you up eh?
Tomorrow i will share my layouts i have been doing as i dart from page to knitting today, determined to get a good chuck of both done.
Thanks for stopping by
Rach x

That clapotis is just gorgeous and I LOVE the colour. Wish my knitting skills were good enough to make something like this.
Enjoy the last few days of your holiday. I'm guessing the weather wasn't good enough for the camping trip you hoped for.
