so...

As i abandoned my last big knitting project i have been on the look out for some new things, i am trying to use what i have as i have tons of yarn that needs using like now!
So this is what i like lately

Spring beret, super cute but a few new techniques that scare me

Still not totally sold on this but you never know

i have such a pretty yarn for this all ready, seriously how awesome was 1920's style?

love this but i think i would do it a little longer. So think i will start with the first hat, i like hats but getting a bit warm(did i just say that) for my lovely Schroom i made.
So this morning i have been doing a bit of quilting, well ok lots of quilting, i have had a 60% finished quilt on my bookcase forever so i thought today is the day but once i started i realised why i had left it, the squares were 4x4 ouch! but its doen but needs binding and i just cant be bothered with that today. I am going to make some cards as i seem to have gone through a million this week. Then i have to catch up on some Twisted Sketches stuff, speaking of which, have you been over to check out this weeks challenge? this is what i did for it

You can find the sketch here and this weeks sketch is Flight! check out the site to see what the rest of the DT have done. Also this week they have started off the Card sketches so if thats your thing had over here, right lots to do, thanks for stopping by xx

Love that beret... I don't really wear hats but maybe I need to start! I saw that jumper dress too on Ravelry, I love it but it's in fingering weight and there's no way I have the patience for that!

I've been quilting too this weekend, can't wait to see your quilt.
