Sad Times

So if you all in the blog world dont know the divine Scrapbook Inspirations is closing down, to say i am gutted is a understatement. Although we still have Scrapbook Magazine its not quite the same, SI had just got a awesome new DT most of which were my friends so very sad times. Now i do like Scrapbook Trends and although its the UK version its seriously not the same i love people spotting in SI seeing who i know and actually having the links to the UK shops where i can buy the products. RIP SI :(
So on another note i am currently full of cold doh! so i have been home today just plodding about not really doing anything, funny how when you are at work you are full of good intentions but when you come home you do nothing lol.
Anyway i have lots of pages to share with you first a couple from last week, thought i would give you a break from all the christmas goings on.

So funny story with this layout i was going to submit this one to favourite layouts for scrapbook inspirations, but as this is now no more i guess i can post it. This title is a song from a Paolo Nutini which i really like, very bright and summery photo for our last day of summer.(sigh)

This is one of the really old page kits i made up just before i went on holiday when i literally had no paper which explains the Elsie lol, the photo is me and my mate vicky, and how we should of appreciated college more, sitting making pretty things, playing with fabric and paint all day and how nice that would be to do now.

Next up is my layouts i did for Sarahs Cards this month, i used Pink Paislee Amber Road which i admit wasnt exactly up my street, but i did my best

My Bootyful books (rob came up with the title again) although i currently mad at them for making my feet bleed but they are far too pretty to stay mad at.... speaking of which

My little lola and her little cutie face

Doesn't everyone look better in black and white? i think so, the rub ons that came with the kit were very American but they can be adapted and used for us Brits, surely we are all thankful of something.

This photo was taken at Mickeys not so scary halloween party, which literally feels like forever again, maybe coz it was we went on the 11th September, they start things early over there, and to think its not halloween for another week.

This is turning into a long post, so this week i was off on monday and my parents visited, been a while since i have seen them so was great to see them. They brought us lots of winter plant things, bulbs and winter pansies and stuff like that so we got to work.

Rob also had a go at convincing my dad to get a mac! his computer now takes 20mins to turn on how wrong is that??

We also had a little change in our house, while rob wasnt looking me and my mam dragged the rug from the bedrom to the living room coz we thought it would be fun.

And you know we were right, our sofa is bright red, so with the green rug it looks very cosy/xmassy in there, will get a proper shot later.
Right that is it off to go and grieve over my favourite magazine. thanks for stopping by.
